more news on Sepalot’s new release: RED HANDED

Recently I wrote about Sepalot’s new album here on my blog when the single “She Likes Me” hit the stores. The album itself, called RED HANDED, will be released at compost records June 6th 2008. Sepalot got a bunch of international features like Frank n Dank, Blu, Ladi6 and Miss Platnum.

 

I really enjoy the tv series Entourage and if you do as well, you are well aware that the guys run into the rapper Saigon on this show. Saigon happens to be a feature artist on the album as well. So I guess from now on we see Sepalot hanging with the boys at the L.A.X. with DJ AM and driving arround in one of his Aston Martins. …well it’s a guess, I’ll keep you posted

This teasing 12” single features the unresistable party anthem “She Likes Me” with lyrics by Detroits Frank Nitty (one half of Frank N Dank). The B-side comes along with a rougher edge, keeping it strictly street. “Surrender” is blessed with the lyrical gift of L.A. underground spitter Blu who debuted in 2007 with his acclaimed long player “Below The Heavens”.
